HOW to dress like a STAR

HOW TO DRESS LIKE A STAR for just about any PARTY - and how to LOOK like ONE

The secret to dress and look like the Star of the Party is to know what your assets are and to know how to take advantage of them - in a classy and elegant way that is.

What are your assets?

Put your best foot forward. Which part of your body looks the best? Consider this a multiple answer question.
Do you feel confident showing off more than one part of your body? Go ahead then: the New Year’s Eve is the Night. You can show off your legs, get the focus on your arms, your neck, uncover a little bit more of your perfect breasts or put your tummy under the spotlight… or your back… Think which part of your body is it that you absolutely adore and you’re never ashamed of…
Now you should know how your dress is supposed to look like, depending on what is it that you want to show off.

Still not sure? Follow this guide lines.
• Your tummy – you can truly show off your tummy by revealing it. If you’re the proud owner of a class A tummy with fab abs and no birth marks, then what are you waiting for? Choose a small top that stops above the navel or a dress with an opening in the tummy area.

• Your arms – if your arms are well toned and feminine, deffinely your asset, then nothing could be easier! Choose a dress with no sleeves and make sure you will use a body powder over your shoulders and arms – to give them a shimmering bronze. Just make sure you match the gold / silver shimmer in the powder with the shade of your jewelries.

• Your neck – if you’re the proud owner of a long and sexy neck this will be easily put on view by an outfit with a small V opening around the neck. Do not go for a short necklace or a scarf, they will just take the focus away from your neck. And make sure you put up your hair neatly, NO loose lock of hair either – it will definitely bring out your neck.

•  Your legs – are you the happy owner of a pair of killer legs? Congratulations! You can easily expose them by wearing a short outfit, be it that little black number or a skirt. Still, you must pay attention to the size of your hips when choosing the proper design for your skirt. If your hips are wide, make sure the length of the skirt is not shorter than half the distance between your bottom and your knees. Also do NOT go for a pleated skirt or a full skirt. Rather choose a straight skirt design or an A-line skirt. On the contrary, if your hips are narrow you can choose any skirt design or length you wish. But please remember your knees when going for a short skirt. If your legs are well sculpted but your knees are chunky, in other words ugly, a must is the dress/skirt that stops underneath the knees but has a kick-pleat along the side of the leg. You will get the best of this skirt if you wear it with high heels.

• Your face – the best way to bring out your pretty face is to wear perfect makeup and use a shimmering powder (but without over doing it). Choose to accentuate either your eyes or your lips – never both or you will look cheap. The hair do is of highest importance as well – if your hair length permits, put your hair up and leave a few lock of hair loose to really bring out your face and Voila, you will be the belle of the ball! Remember, keep it simple but stylish.

• Your breasts – a low square cut top/dress is the ideal solution to show off these assets. Another way of putting your breasts on view, if the low cut doesn’t appeal to you, is to go for a satin top (a glossy top) buttoned up. Or a seen through top with a good quality bra definitely in a matching color.

• Your back – a perfect back is supple and without molls, white stripes left by the swim suit or other scars; ideally It will also be tanned. If your back is a perfect match to this description, then it’s a must to show it off. Your dress for the New Year’s Eve Night must be with a bare back; and remember the shimmering powder to dust over your back, gold OR silver to match your accessories.

And a drop of color…
At least for this one time, the color of your New Year’s Eve attire must NOT comply with the fashion. If you’re slightly overweight simply go for the classical black – and choose silver accents. If you’re a pale complexion, go for vibrant colors like bright red.
To stand out choose a bright yellow or gold dress, but be very careful with the make up.
If you’re tall and slim, grey is a very classy color to go by, just remember to have that tiny splash of 5% red through your accessories or lipstick and nail polish.

The choice is all yours; make an informed one and Have Fun!
